When The Music Fades ~ Matt Redman

This song was written by Matt Redman in his bedroom. It had been a time at his church when it was felt that the trappings of "the worship time" were distracting from what should be at the heart of worship. The pastor of the church made a brave and bold descission. There was to be no band/ microphones etc and that the congregation would simply reflect on the message "what can you bring". spontaneous singing and praying was the result and Matt went home and penned one of the most well known and heart felt songs of modern worship.
