I Wish I Had Been In York When ....

The wonderful guys from Three Sides Theatre turned the centre of York into a lounge with rugs, coffee tables and sofas and invited members of the public to come and sit down, have some free cakes (always a good thing) and to talk, write and share with members of the group or with other members of the public.

Wish the world was full of more people like this.

You can find out more about three sides theatre by looking at their web site (and find out about how they are official olympic street artists)  follow them on Twitter .

I will Be Still and Know you are God

 An additional verse:

 Hold Me close
When I feel weak
Let your warmth
Heal my hurting heart

Memory Quilt

I'm really excited because the quilt I have been working on is now completed thanks to the postie who delivered the wadding this morning.
I couldn't wait until tomorrow to show you!

The memory quilts are created from your own clothing items, like babies clothes, childrens or adults clothes t.shirts, shirts etc so that your memories can be forever stored in a practical item that also looks great.
You can have a name and date embroidered on as well.

For further details about having a memory quilt made for you, just email me at info and I'll get back to you.

Memory Quilt ~ Summer Dresses

The memory quilt that I am currently working on is being created with the outgrown summer dresses of a young girl.

The patches are being assembled on an ivory background.
Each of the patches are sewn with a decorative stitch edging.
The quilt is a random patch and fabric memory quilt.
Once all the patches are assembled, I will be adding wadding and a backing  before quilting around the patches.

These memory quilts can be made with your own clothes and fabrics and can have colour backings of your choice.  Available in sizes to suit.  For further details contact me on info @ (remove spaces)
