Valentines day

What is love?  Is it red roses, chocolates, champagne, perfume, gifts?

I think that Barbara's explanation is love.

"Thanks for reminding me it’s Valentine’s Day. Have to go down and get the cards out of the sideboard drawer, who said romance is dead !. We just get the same ones out each year, married nearly 38 yrs and still in love , more so than ever but we’ve never been sentimental about valentines and birthdays etc.
I’d rather have a hubby who is faithful and true than one who feels he must keep up appearances. Besides, he’s in the kitchen now and has been since at least 6am without waking me, preparing todays meals and sorting laundry, he always cleans everywhere afterwards, cupboards , floor, etc"
Happy Valentines Day.

That is so nice. Your husband sounds lovely.
I don't like my boyfriend to waste money on tat for Valentine's Day either with meaningless gestures. He helps me at craft fairs, helps looking after my beloved diabetic cat and me (I have lupus) at the moment whilst having a flare. I think this is more important x
