Valentines day

What is love?  Is it red roses, chocolates, champagne, perfume, gifts?

I think that Barbara's explanation is love.

"Thanks for reminding me it’s Valentine’s Day. Have to go down and get the cards out of the sideboard drawer, who said romance is dead !. We just get the same ones out each year, married nearly 38 yrs and still in love , more so than ever but we’ve never been sentimental about valentines and birthdays etc.
I’d rather have a hubby who is faithful and true than one who feels he must keep up appearances. Besides, he’s in the kitchen now and has been since at least 6am without waking me, preparing todays meals and sorting laundry, he always cleans everywhere afterwards, cupboards , floor, etc"

Sock Monkey ~ Ralph

Ralph is looking for a new home. He's a mischevious little monkey, but desperately needs to be loved. He's great fun to be with and longs to be your friend. He has a heart of gold. Ralph is a striped red and grey monkey . His eyes are felt. Ralph is a hand sewn monkey and although he has no loose bits and bobs, supervision would be required for those under 36 months. JRalph is a is 14" (36cm) high. He's not afraid of water and can even go in the machine on a delicate wool cycle. He needs to be reshaped whilst wet and dried naturally.

Materials

All New: sock body: 82% Cotton, 17% Nylon, 1% Lycra Stuffing: 100% polyester (complies with 1988 Fire Safety Regulations)

ACEO ~ Whitby Harbour

As both child and adult, I have felt a special connection with the North Yorkshire town of Whitby.  Set accross the moors on the Jurasic cliffs, Whitby is a beautiful fishing port.  It spans the River Esk whose estuary is the harbour.  Whitby is largely made up of red brick and roof tiles which look amazing in the setting sun.
